Shoulderbone Plantation
has several charming spaces for formal and casual gatherings. The fully restored plantation house is an elegant location where family heirlooms and locally made antiques evoke the spirit of antebellum Georgia. The plantation house grounds make an exceptional location for wedding ceremonies and receptions alike. The natural landscape and rustic agrarian buildings are just a part of the allure of Shoulderbone Plantation. They also offer subtle touches to enhance the plantation experience, like having your bridal party escorted to the ceremony in a white vis-à-vis carriage pulled by Percheron horses, providing guests with guided tours of the house, having cocktails on the veranda, or exploring the plantation grounds in a horse drawn carriage.

The large outdoor pavilion is also a unique location for events as well. It is common for brides and grooms to hold the ceremony at the main house and the reception in the pavilion. The covered pavilion is a short walk from the main house and can accommodate up to 400 guests, a band, dance floor and seating. The vast, immaculately kept lawn makes a lovely backdrop for parties, and the pavilion is easily adaptable to a variety of styles and layouts.
